What is an AI citation?
When an AI assistant answers with web search enabled, it lists the pages it used as sources. Being cited means your page is one of them: the AI is actively sending trust and clicks your way. A mention is weaker, your brand appears in the answer text without your site being used as a source.
Is this live data or a stored database?
